Rhythm is a universal language. Everybody gets it and everybody have experienced tapping along in the same rhythmic beat at a concert or a party. But being part and at the same time creating massive collective rhythm can be quite a unique experience. This is what 'Drum along' is all about.
No matter the background, the talent, the age, everybody can enjoy the benefits that drumming provides. Coordination, confidence, stress release are just some of them. Add to that the fact that you are part of an orchestrated team and immediately the benefits of dynamic interaction, interpersonal communication, motivation and team alignment arise.
Your hands become the medium that express the rhythm. Your rhythm merges and become part of the universal rhythm, generating vibrant energy, incredible aliveness and a genuine sense of connectedness.
All the participants are given their own percussion instrument. The instructor guides each group of participants how to use their specific instruments. Then, step by step the group starts creating a rhythmic tune, owning it and expressing it. The instructor drives the group of players to their highest musical potential, creating a fun and exciting musical experience while enabling an individual to merge comfortably into the team. Thus, a strong sense of personal achievement among participants is created, as well as a feeling of team unity.
Please note, that any place, indoors or outdoors, can be used for a drum circle, still an extra caution should be taken, not to disturb people around! Indoors is strongly suggested, due to controlled environment & sound!
