Donating used household items—or creating new ones for the same purpose—is a heartfelt way to open your heart to those in need of love and life’s basic necessities.
What you'll do
At Summit, we're always finding creative ways to support people in need: "Crafted with Love" is a series of in-office workshops where you and your team are challenged to create seasonal handicrafts, auction them, and donate the proceeds to organizations or individuals in need. The event takes the form of a fun, auction-style gathering, where bids to purchase the handcrafted items are collected and then donated to the chosen cause.
You can create all kinds of handicrafts — from seasonal decorations and candles to hand-painted t-shirts, flip-flops, and more. We provide all the raw materials, tools, and expert guidance from Summit.
All you need is 30 to 60 minutes of working time, a comfortable meeting room (or any suitable space), and your passion and creativity.
You'll be amazed by the quality of the handicrafts you and your colleagues produce — and by the lively atmosphere during the auction as everyone, including yourselves, bids on these one-of-a-kind creations.
