Meze Stories
"Meze or mezze (/ˈmɛzeɪ/) is a selection of small dishes served as appetizers in parts of the Middle East, the Balkans, Greece, and North Africa. In Greece though, no one cares about the definition - just taste meze, to shape the definition yourselves!
What you'll do
Meze Stories is an entertaining and dynamic culinary adventure designed to foster teamwork and overcome communication challenges.
Participants are split into small teams and embark on a Meze Quest or Meze Bootcamp (both optional) to gather the recipes for some of Greece's tastiest mezedes (meze for singular, mezedes for plural).
The activity then transforms into a whirlwind of creativity and culinary skill as teams dive into ingredients like feta cheese, yogurt, hot chili peppers, olives, Greek olive oil, eggs, and more. Gloves and aprons are available for all aspiring chefs in the team.
Before enjoying their culinary creations, a judging committee will evaluate each team’s effort and award a bottle of ouzo or wine to the winning team. After all, meze means "snack while drinking or talking."
Sharing the drinks is optional, but we encourage you to enjoy and celebrate your teamwork and delicious creations together!
