An exciting teambuilding experience where teams create and perform their own live TV news bulletin filled with creativity, humor, fast-paced collaboration, and newsroom-style pressure.
What you'll do
This interactive teambuilding activity puts your group directly into the heart of a live newsroom. Deadlines, pressure, jokes, sarcasm, unexpected chaos, and nonstop teamwork come together in an unforgettable behind-the-scenes experience that most viewers never get to see.
The mission: Working in teams of 6–8 people, participants will create and perform a complete 2–3 minute live news bulletin, including:
- Breaking news segments
- Commercial breaks
- On-camera presentations
- Special reports
As airtime approaches, teams will experience the excitement and intensity of producing a seamless broadcast under pressure.
The Big Screening: During lunch, dinner, or meeting breaks, all news bulletins will be projected on the big screen for everyone to enjoy.
Teams will be judged on:
- Participation
- Creativity and humor
- Team spirit
- Professionalism
The Awards Ceremony: The winning team will be awarded the prestigious Pulitzer Prize - disguised as a golden Oscar (apologies to Mr. Pulitzer) - followed by heartfelt thank-yous, emotional shout-outs, and photo ops in front of the Wall of Fame specially prepared for you.
