Year 2563. Mankind is an interplanetary species. Your mothership is on a mission of discovering new inhabitable worlds. Each time the mothership needs to replenish its energy and food storage, it sends smalls ships on different planet surfaces to gather food and materials.
It takes too long to get the small ships back on board before the mothership departures again. Can you help?
What you'll do
The game is a dynamic problem-solving activity where teams compete to solve as many Armada riddles as possible. These riddles are represented by spaceships and a mothership on a large grid canvas on the ground, with each riddle featuring a unique spaceship configuration.
Teams are seated around a table and strive to find a way to fit all the ships into the mothership while adhering to specific rules. Once a team solves a riddle, they should go demonstrate the solution on the large canvas, with players acting as the spaceships, within just 10 seconds!
The team that solves the most Armada riddles and gains the highest points will be declared the winner of the day!
Additional Activities- teams can earn space “money” to purchase more riddles from:
- Armada Quest- an outdoor treasure hunt like game or
- Armada Bootcamp- a dynamic set of activities
