Hydra, one of the most cosmopolitan Greek islands, is known for its classy beauty: it was a filming location for “A Girl in Black” and “Boy on a Dolphin,” and a favorite holiday spot for Leonard Cohen. On Hydra island, there are no cars—everyone gets around on foot, by boat, or on donkeys. This car ban, combined with the elegant stone mansions, creates a charming and serene atmosphere, making Hydra one of the most peaceful destinations near Athens.
What you'll do
Using the digital map on Summit tablets or your own smartphone, in teams of 4-6 people, embark on a fun walking tour through the citadel of Hydra, visiting sites marked on the map that are rich in cultural and historical significance.
Each pin on the map reveals a question, puzzle, or team task. By completing tasks on time or correctly answering location-specific questions, teams gain valuable historical or cultural insights and earn points for the game leaderboard. All tasks are interactive, involving either the surrounding environment or teamwork with your teammates.
