Delphi is one of the most enigmatic sites on the planet, filled with mysticism and awe. We amplify this energy by turning you into archaeologists on a quest to decode a long-lost oracle of the Pythia.
But beware, each oracle is cryptic and open to interpretation, not very helpful when time is running out and other teams appear to be making good progress.
What you'll do
The Quest theme:
A newly discovered fragment of the Pythia’s oracle has been found hidden inside an old crate in the museum’s storeroom. The mysterious text is written in Linear B, an ancient script that few can decipher. You are the archaeologist-explorers chosen to help the museum curators unlock this forgotten piece of history. Your mission will take you through the legendary archaeological site of Delphi and its renowned museum, where every clue brings you one step closer to revealing the oracle’s secret.
Your mission:
Split into teams of 4–6 and set off on an interactive riddle quest. Equipped with a Riddle Quest Booklet, filled with intriguing clues and ancient-inspired puzzles, you’ll need to locate key spots, solve riddles, and collect contemporary letters corresponding to the Linear B symbols in the mysterious message.
Work together, observe your surroundings, connect the clues, and race against the other teams to decipher the oracle.
