The new Acropolis Museum houses some of the most significant archaeological artifacts of all time, and you'll have the opportunity to explore them from a unique perspective. Some might call it more challenging, others more intriguing, but it's sure to be a fun and memorable experience!
What you'll do
Mystery of Plutarch's Speech:
A recently discovered piece of Plutarch's speech, written in an unknown code, has been found in an old crate in the museum's storeroom. As archaeologist-explorers, your mission is to help the museum curators decipher this piece of written history.
Quest Overview:
- Starting Point: The quest begins at the entrance of the museum, where participants are briefed and divided into teams of 4-6 people.
- Exploration: Once inside, teams will answer questions on their game sheet by closely examining ancient art, listening to the guide, gathering information from exhibit description tags, or researching online.
- Earning Points: Correct answers earn points and letters to help decipher the ancient text at the end of the game.
- Final Challenge: In the last 10-15 minutes, teams will gather at the veranda or entrance to decode the text and win the grand prize—an ancient coin replica for each member of the winning team!
Additional Details: The game is developed with the help of archaeologists and can be played without a professional guide. However, for a deeper understanding of the exhibits and their history, we strongly recommend using a guide and whisperers (available at an extra cost).
